More than half of online fashion retailers don't offer free postal returns according to Which?. ZigZag's recent research into the top 130 retailers revealed that paid returns were up 17% in adoption this year with around 60% charging for all or some return options. The true scale of retailers passing the returns cost on to the consumer is hard to quantify as many hide return fees from the consumer until they are 90% of the way through the returns process.
