A very exciting opportunity has arisen at a top tier US law firm for a corporate paralegal with a passion for all things ESG.
The Role
You will work closely with the partner who specialises in this area and advises clients all around the globe on strategy and legal and regulatory changes. The team also provide advice on transactions including sustainability and impact fundraising, sustainability linked financing, governance and environmental issues.
As well as assisting on transactions you will also ensure the knowledge / know-how is up to date so will involve legal research, drafting updates and ensuring the precedent bank is up to date.
You will also work with the internal ESG team assisting with the firm’s climate action policies, DE&I and pro bono capabilities.
The Requirements
Although experience in a similar ESG role would be ideal, the firm are very open to a general corporate paralegal with a passion for all things ESG.
The role will either be on a 12 month FTC (if you are a future trainee) or permanent.
