GTR is delighted to reveal its list of GTR Best Deal winners for 2024. Each year, GTR’s editorial team selects the market’s Best Deals from the previous 12 months. The winning deals are chosen from submissions sent to GTR, and feature a mix of #trade, #commodities, #supplychain and #export #finance as well as #fintech innovation transactions. Innovative SCF solutions were a key theme of this year’s Awards, with Citi, Santander and the IFC - International Finance Corporation all involved in programmes that enabled suppliers to secure early payment. One deal supported telecoms infrastructure giant Cellnex Telecom and another the booming e-commerce market. Other winning transactions sought to grow access to trade finance in challenging markets, such as Togo, Benin and Gabon, while an insurance facility helped drive exports from war-torn Ukraine. Two export credit agency-backed transactions, worth billions of euros each and which backed development in the 5G and clean energy sectors, also won awards. Congratulations to those behind these 10 deals, which were chosen as the top transactions from 2023. View the full write up of each deal in our latest issue of GTR: https://lnkd.in/ejP5dn9Y #GTRAwards #GTRBestDeals
