🏁 The Gulf Road Trip wrapped up with an incredible finish! We were thrilled to team up with the MG Owners Club and Glasgow Moggies (Morris Minor) for the final leg of the Gulf Road Trip, making exciting stops at Gulf stations in Durham and Glasgow. These events brought a fantastic turnout, creating a buzz around each location. Mike Forbes, MG Owners Club: “They were all very friendly at the Gulf sites. We got our coffee and sandwiches at the SPAR shops. We all felt very special.” Allan Methven, Glasgow Moggies: “We do lots of different activities, but the Gulf Road Trip was something totally different. Seeing the banners and the posters on site with our name on was really a nice touch." A huge thank you to the car clubs, Gulf stations, and everyone who took part. Family run for over 30 years, they offer more than essentials. From fresh produce sourced locally from The Veg Lord to plants from Booths Garden Centre, they’re dedicated to serving their community in unique ways. And they lead with heart, running charitable initiatives that truly make a difference. Last year, they supported Harper, a young girl undergoing cancer treatment, and in 2024, they’ll be backing the Our Community Wardrobe project —providing pre-loved school uniforms to local families. Led by Sue Collinge, who carries forward the legacy of her late father, Frank Pullen, Lees Village Service Station continues to be a cornerstone of the community.
