Citi and Google Cloud have joined forces in a strategic, multi-year agreement to support Citi's digital strategy through cloud technology and artificial intelligence (AI). This collaboration focuses on modernizing Citi's technology infrastructure and enhancing employee and client experiences on cloud-based applications. Citi will unlock the ability to offer improved digital products, streamline employee workflows, and run high-performance computing (HPC) and analytics platforms. Siemens is revolutionizing industrial automation with Microsoft. Through their collaboration, they have taken the Siemens Industrial Copilot to the next level, enabling it to handle the most demanding environments at scale. Combining Siemens’ unique domain know-how across industries with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, the Copilot further improves handling of rigorous requirements in manufacturing and automation. Beginning in early 2025, their machines will be engineered with the assistant, fully unleashing its potential across their entire product range. The rollout will take place globally. Siemens is pioneering the offering of Gen AI for automation engineering in the industry and has made this capability easily accessible on the Siemens Xcelerator open digital business platform. NVIDIA will supply artificial intelligence processors to Indian companies such as Reliance Industries Limited as it deepens partnerships to exploit a growing market. The U.S. company will supply its Blackwell AI processors for a one-gigawatt data centre Reliance is building in the western state of Gujarat. Nvidia said it also plans to supply tens of thousands of its Hopper AI chips to build large-scale data centres, in an expansion led by firms such as data centre provider Yotta Data Services Private Limited and Tata Communications. "In the future, India is going to be the country that will export AI," Jensen Huang said, by contrast with its role in software exports.
