Last week, we celebrated National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) with a series of events exploring different aspects of our apprenticeships. 🎉
It was a great opportunity for current and former apprentices, employers, and our course leaders to reflect on how apprenticeships positively impact individuals, organisations, and the wider community.
We kicked off with a webinar called “What’s Your Story?”, where former healthcare apprentices shared their experiences and offered practical tips and guidance.
Carla Street, Occupational Therapist and former apprentice, told current students: “Doing an apprenticeship was the best decision I ever made… It has changed my life and my career.” 🚀
We also hosted another webinar for all apprentices to exchange insights and advice, as well as one for employers to learn about our range of courses and offer their insights to shape future apprenticeship opportunities.
The week ended with a celebratory lunch where apprentices and university staff came together to celebrate everyone’s achievements and discuss future career development over pizza and cake. 🍕
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s NAW such a success! 🌟
