VIC 2024 | HIGHLIGHTING THE TOP 15 OUTSTANDING SOLUTIONS FROM THE VIETNAM INNOVATION CHALLENGE 2024 🌟 With the theme of 2024, “Innovation to accelerate the Semiconductor industry and Artificial intelligence to go global”, the program has garnered over 3,000,000 reach and interactions across multiple platforms, attracting more than 750 solutions from 20 countries and territories, including major technology corporations from Silicon Valley, USA. After six months of rigorous search, intensive training, and evaluation, the Organizing Committee and Selection Council have narrowed down entries to the Top 80, Top 50, and Top 20, culminating in the outstanding solutions being honored at the event. These finalists represent three business categories: corporations, SMEs, and startups/innovation projects. Each solution was evaluated based on criteria such as innovation, social impact, sustainability, technological uniqueness, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and market readiness. 👉🏻 Please see the images below for details on each solution. 🎯 Following the event, the Organizing Committee will continue to support these solutions with various packages to enable broader deployment across regions and industries. TECHFEST 2024 | PRIME MINISTER PHAM MINH CHINH: INNOVATIVE STARTUPS MUST BE STRATEGICALLY AND SCIENTIFICALLY IMPLEMENTED Speaking at the TECHFEST - WHISE 2023, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that innovative startups create value by leveraging intellectual assets, technology, and new business models. This is the key to unlocking breakthrough growth for businesses and serves as a vital driver of fast and sustainable development for nations, especially in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, innovative startups must be systematically and strategically developed, with a focus on four key areas: information technology, cybersecurity, and digital services; medical and educational technologies; environmental and energy technologies; and high-tech agriculture. The Prime Minister also called on scientists, organizations, businesses, and investors both domestically and internationally to contribute more actively to Vietnam’s innovation startup ecosystem. He encouraged the startup community, especially the younger generation, to continue showcasing the resilience, intellect, and spirit of the Vietnamese people, creating remarkable achievements and "unicorns" of regional and global stature, contributing to building a prosperous and powerful Vietnam where its citizens enjoy increasing well-being and happiness. LOOKING BACK ON THE EXCELLENCE SOLUTIONS AWARDS - INNOVATION FOR A SUSTAINABLE VIETNAM AND A CIRCULAR ECONOMY 🔴On October 22, the Outstanding Solutions Awards event took place in Hanoi, honoring groundbreaking initiatives that promote the circular value of plastics in Vietnam, moving toward a circular and sustainable economy. 🔥The event gathered 300 representatives from various Ministries, government agencies, businesses, international organizations, the startup community, and students. Notably, the event was attended by senior leaders from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Unilever Vietnam, Standard Chartered Bank, the British Embassy, investment funds, and leading innovation experts both domestically and internationally. Highlights included appearances by Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Bích Vân - Chairwoman of Unilever Vietnam, and Mr. Fergus McBean - First Secretary of Climate and Nature, British Embassy in Vietnam. 🔴At the awards ceremony, the organizing committee and the panel of judges successfully identified the winners of prestigious awards across two categories, with total prizes valued at over 400,000,000 VND.
