With support from the MetLife Foundation, MSC has designed the Women-led Businesses (WLB) Program, a global signature program to improve women entrepreneurs’ financial health in Vietnam. WISE, as the Anchor Partner of MSC for the WLB Program in Vietnam, organized training sessions to help women entrepreneurs like Hoang Thi Ngat manage their businesses better. #wisevietnam #msc #metlife #womenempowerment
Hoang Thi Ngat teaches women with hearing disabilities. She started a household business to create employment opportunities for them. Ngat is a first-time entrepreneur who needed to learn more about how to maintain accounts, manage cash flow, and build a sustainable business. Women entrepreneurs like Ngat constitute more than 19% of businesses in Vietnam. However, they often lack the means to enhance business-related skills. MSC and Women’s Initiative for Startups and Entrepreneurship (WISE) organized training sessions to help women entrepreneurs like Ngat manage their businesses better.
