Marketing Specialist
Purpose of the role
You are a self-motivated and enthusiastic master communicator who can see a brand come to life through your vision. In this role, you will analyze, develop, and implement marketing strategies to promote our services and tell our brand story. Your goal will be to perform a broad range of marketing activities aimed at enhancing internal branding, attracting prospective customers and enhancing the brand images for existing clients. You will be responsible for handling the organization's social media presence ensuring the desired levels of online traffic and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media - Digital Marketing
● Liaison between the company and external vendors (marketing, PR) to ensure things are getting done on time
● Ability to use graphic design tools
● Design and execute digital media strategy along with the external vendor
● Ensure specific strategy and coverage across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook etc.
● Direct/ideate social media content, including video, static images, polls, quizzes to engage the online community across platforms.
● Implement trending content with regards to digital media, applications, channels and strategy.
● Perform quick edits on videos/images for posting
● Analyze social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data, analyze competitor campaigns and determine areas for social media campaign improvement
● Moderate comments and queries on various social media platforms.
Talent and Employer Branding
● Strategise and implement employment branding efforts and implement the Talent Brand Story
● Assist team in setting up internal key events & internal branding.
● Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
● Partner with the talent team on driving the culture narrative for the organization
● Develop, execute and evaluate an internal communications strategy, ensuring that business goals, initiatives and people news are communicated regularly and effectively
Business Development
● Ensure all marketing assets and artifacts are kept up to date on a monthly basis
● Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
● Assist the manager in planning and budgeting the yearly marketing spend of the organization
● Represent the company by attending networking events
● Assist with client pitch
