Samsung Droid Charge will help Rule the Air on Verizon

The Droid branding is commonly known as a collaboration between Motorola and Verizon. While they do have some of the more popular Droids, it has never been an exclusive branding. The day the original Motorola Droid came out (11/7/2009) HTC also released a Hero-variant called the HTC Droid Eris. There has also been the popular HTC Droid Incredible and the occasionally known as Droid the LG Ally/Droid Ally.

The Samsung Droid Charge will be Samsung’s first Droid-branded phone, and it will be very welcome!

Specs on Droid Charge

  • 4.3 inch super AMOLED screen
  • 8 MP rear camera
  • 1.3 MP front-facing camera
  • 1 GHz Hummingbird processor
  • LTE-capable

The Charge was first shown at CES, but without a name at that time. You may remember it from its codename, the Samsung Stealth.  Verizon has made quite a household name out of the Droid branding, and I’d be surprised if any Android phones on Verizon that wouldn’t want to be a part of that. The more LTE phones out this half of the year the better. Anyone here interested in picking the Samsung Droid Charge up? Let us know!
