T-Mobile G-Slate Dual Core Tablet Gets Priced: $529 for 2 Year Contract After $100 Rebate

For a carrier that’s about to to be amalgamated with a much larger one, T-Mobile isn’t keeping quiet in the corner.  Instead they have finally giving us some pricing on their much-awaited T-Mobile G-Slate Android Tablet.  The LG-manufactured dual core device will cost you $529, and you’ll be signing a two-year contract to keep it that low.  Don’t forget you’re agreeing to two years of monthly data charges with that contract, too.

T-Mobile G-Slate, Pricey but Loaded

And let’s not forget, that $529 is including a $100 rebate, so it will actually cost you $629 out of pocket.  But remember what you’re getting for $529, or $629 if you forget to mail in your rebate paperwork.  This is an Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet, 8.9 inch screen, plus it can record as well as play 3D video and 1080p video as well.

Apps for Tablets, but How About a Release Date for the T-Mobile G-Slate?

The G-Slate will include T-Mobile TV, Need for Speed SHIFT HD, and Zinio eReader, which are all also going to found on the T-Mobile G2X dual core smartphone.  The G2X is also manufactured by LG and was just announced hours ago.

No release date announced other than “Spring,” but April 20th is a date that we keep hearing.  As with all rumored release dates, we’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything official, or a better rumor.
