Motorola Xoom Headed to US Cellular for 2Q Launch

Thanks to  a tipster at Android Central, we can share yet another cellular network getting the Motorola Xoom: regional carrier US Cellular, the sixth-largest carrier in the United States.  While we don’t know whether US Cellular will be getting a CDMA version or the Wi-Fi only model, they seem rather pleased they’ll be adding the 10.1 inch Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet to their collection.

Everybody Wants to Xoom!

The Motorola Xoom’s had a rather full dance card of late.  Sprint seems to be getting their own WiMAX Xoom, and an AT&T GSM version just hit the FCC.  Cellular South will have the Wi-Fi only version.

The T-Mobile G-Slate is getting most of the press today with their launch, so nice to see the Xoom still making news, although I’m sure the news we’re all waiting on is when it will do 4G.  Given the LTE woes of the Motorola DROID Bionic, I would say don’t expect to see that this week.  Ah well, we can still look forward to the quad core Xoom.
