Xperia Arc, Xperia Play Dummy Devices at Rogers

A tipster over at MobileSyrup reports that Canadian mobile carrier Rogers is getting their dummy units of both the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play (better known as the “PlayStation Phone”).  Dummies are nonworking units used for display.  The above picture shows what the dummies look like.  We’ll ignore the Samsung non-Android phone dummy next to the white box, then.

Obviously the real ones are going to be on sale real soon: April 28th, in fact.  If you’re interested, the Xperia devices are available for the same pricing, with deeper discounts the longer a contract you’re willing to sign.  Starting from no contract at all, these devices will run you:

  • No contract: $549.99
  • 1 year: $499.99
  • 2 years: $449.99
  • 3 years: $99.99 (on a $45 per month voice/data plan)
