LG's G Pro Lite Coming to Verizon as the LG G Vista in July?

In the never-ending race to own what we each believe is the best phone with the best set of specifications, its easy to forget that not everyone can afford or justify buying the latest and greatest. But just because someone has a set budget, that doesn’t mean that they want to compromise on screen-size. With this in mind, it would appear that Verizon are going to offer a Lite version of the LG G Pro 2 from mid-July under the LG G Vista moniker thanks to a leaked Verizon product page. It almost goes without saying that this news comes courtesy of @evleaks, the serial leaker of all things mobile.

The Verizon LG G Vista model name is seen on the product page for a ‘Rubberized Shell/Holster Combo’ (main picture), which promises to offer protection against mishaps for the handset, with a dual-purpose kickstand that also functions as an 180-degree belt-clip. The rear of the case has a pattern similar to some of the Kevlar cases that are available.

Regarding hardware levels, the LG G Vista (model number LG-VS880) was previously mentioned last month when it passed through the FCC for testing, with what appeared to be a 5.7-inch display with support for LTE Bands 4 and 13, Bluetooth 4.0 LE as well as WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The LG G Vista would appear to have a 3200mAh battery. At present there’s no firm details as to which CPU will power the Vista or how much RAM will be included, but given LG’s prodigious use of the older Snapdragon processors in its offerings, It would be surprising to see anything more powerful than the Snapdragon 600 with 1-2GB RAM. The Vista is said to have a 1.3MP camera on selfie duty, with a 8MP on the rear.

The LG G Vista doesn’t look like its going to be a world beater, but then it’s not meant to be, its competing against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. It’s thought that the LG G Vista should be available from Verizon mid-July.
