There certainly is a lot of flagship devices available at the moment. If you are in the market for a new smartphone then you definitely do have a wealth of choice to choose from. One of those which is gaining a lot of attention recently is Sony’s flagship device, the Sony Xperia Z3. The Z3 was originally announced back in September at IFA in Berlin and originally as coming to T-mobile which many assumed would be the first carrier to pick it up, but Verizon launched their own variant of the device first as the Xperia Z3v, termed as a Verizon Wireless exclusive. Since then and only recently it was announced the Z3 was now available on T-Mobile. Via T-Mobile the Z3 can be purchased either straight up and off-contract for $630 or on a two year contract with $0 down and $26.25 a month for 24 months.

If you are not one for contracts and don’t want to purchase through T-Mobile, then you will be glad to know that Sony have now started listing the LTE version of the Z3 on their website. As such you can now buy the Xperia Z3 carrier-free directly from Sony. As this is a carrier-free version you know what this means right? Yep, unlockable bootloaders.
