Sprint is set to officially launch the Galaxy S9 on March 16 alongside the Galaxy S9 Plus, Samsung’s newest phones which it just unveiled today during Mobile World Congress at the Galaxy Unpacked press conference. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus were originally thought to be coming to market as Samsung’s most expensive phones in the Galaxy S line to date, but as it turns out the prices of both of them will still be around what the cost was for the Galaxy S lineup last year, so consumers will be able to pick them up for under $900.

In regards to the actual cost, Sprint will have the Galaxy S9 on sale for $792 while the Galaxy S9 Plus will be $912. These will be the full retail prices for each phone but subscribers will also be able to pay for the phone on Sprint’s Flex Lease payment plan, which will make the cost $33 per month for the Galaxy S9 and $38 per month for the Galaxy S9 Plus. Both will also be $0 down for qualified buyers and come with 64GB of internal storage space. In addition to the 64GB of storage, the Galaxy S9 will come with 4GB of RAM while the Galaxy S9 Plus will have 6GB of RAM, both will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor on the inside to power the computing needs, and both are coming with a 12-megapixel camera on the back as well as an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

The Galaxy S9 Plus will also have a secondary camera sensor on the back which will be 12-megapixels as well, and the main camera for both phones will have an adjustable aperture, while also offering features like Super Slow-mo image capture. Sprint, like the other carriers will be selling the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus in three of the four colors that Samsung manufactured which will be Lilac Purple, Midnight Black, and Coral Blue, while the Titanium Gray will remain exclusive to outside the U.S. for now, with no guarantee that Samsung will launch it in the U.S. in the future. That said, there is also the possibility of more colors later in the phone’s lifespan as well. In addition to selling the new phones on its own network plans, Sprint will be selling the Galaxy S9 on its Boost Mobile network on March 16, though it will only come in Midnight Black, and there will be no pre-order capability.
