Honor’s President, Zhao Ming, has announced that the company managed to sell over 1 million Honor 10 smartphones in China thus far. Now, most of you probably already know that the Honor 10 launched in both Europe and India recently as well, but it arrived in China in April, and it seems like its sales are coming along nicely for Honor. European and Indian sales do not count in here, but Honor will hopefully release some detail for both European and Indian markets in the coming weeks, probably in about a month or so, if they plan to do the same thing they did for the Chinese market.

The Honor 10 is considered to be a more affordable variant of the Huawei P20 because the two phones do share plenty of internals, while they also look similar, but the Honor 10 does look somewhat different, and includes that interesting-looking back. The Honor 10 is basically the company’s flagship, along with the Honor View 10, and it is fueled by the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core SoC, which is Huawei’s most powerful processor to date. This chip fuels the Huawei P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Honor View 10, and a couple of additional phones. The Honor 10 features a front-facing fingerprint scanner, and this is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which is covered by glass, and you can use it even if your hands are wet. The device sports two cameras on its back, while its backside is slightly curved for a better grip.

The Honor 10 comes with 4GB of RAM in Europe, while it is available in both 4GB and 6GB RAM flavors in China and India. The phone features a 5.84-inch fullHD+ display, and even though this is a large display, the phone is quite compact due to display’s aspect ratio, and thin bezels of the device itself. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the Honor 10, while you’ll find Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.1 on top of it. A 3,400mAh battery is also a part of the package, while Huawei’s SuperCharge fast charging is included as well. Chinese and European variants of this phone are almost identical, the only difference comes to RAM and storage setups, while software is also adapted for specific markets, but it’s EMUI 8.1 in both cases.
