Samsung Introduces The Moto Maker-Inspired "Bespoke Edition" Galaxy Z Flip 3

At Unpacked Part 2 today, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition. This provides customers with more ways to customize your new smartphone. Bringing unique personality and style to Samsung’s Bespoke concept. Which was first introduced to its home appliances, and now it’s coming to Galaxy.

Samsung says that customers will be able to choose from a black or silver phone frame. And then the back and front colors of pink, white, black and new colors that include blue and yellow. These can be mixed and matched as well. Samsung claims that there will be 49 possible combinations in total.

When customers design their Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke edition on Samsung’s website, they’ll be able to interact with a 360-degree preview of their combination. And even download an image of the selection to share on social media. Customers will also get a special edition package, with a Bespoke Edition wallpaper and cover screen that will match the devices colors for a fully coordinated look.

If this all sounds a lot like Moto Maker, that’s because it does. Motorola did this with the Moto X nearly a decade ago.

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition will start at $1099, that is $100 more than the regular Galaxy Z Flip 3. It also comes with 12 months of Samsung Care+. On Samsung.com, users will be able to get up to a $600 trade-in credit towards their Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition purchase.

Galaxy Watch 4 & Buds 2 get new editions too

That’s not all. The Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 get a Maison Kitsune Edition, which was designed in collaboration with the popular Parisian fashion and music brand. The Galaxy Watch 4 Maison Kitsune Edition has a Moonrock Beige strap, which is punctuated with a charming fox shaped hole and delicate engravings for an eye-catching look.

On top of that, the Galaxy Watch 4 gets a Bespoke Edition too. Allowing you to choose from a number of colors.

The Galaxy Buds 2 Maison Kitsune Edition also comes in Moonrock Beige and is housed in a sleek Stardust GRay leather case emblazoned with a reimagined Maison Kitsune Fox Head logo. The right earbud has the Fox’s head. While the left earbud has the Fox’s tail. This is meant to represent an uninterrupted journey through the Samsung Galaxy.

The Galaxy Buds 2 Maison Kitsune Edition will be priced at $249, while the Galaxy Watch 4 Maison Kitsune Edition will be available only in a 40mm model for $399.

Samsung says that the Bespoke Editions of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Watch 4 will be available in Korea, US, UK, Germany, France, Canada and Australia beginning today, October 20.
