Samsung seems to be in hurry to update all of its eligible Galaxy devices to Android 13. Over the past couple of weeks, it has rolled out the new Android version to dozens of Galaxy smartphones and tablets. And it keeps adding multiple new models to the party every day. The latest entrants to Samsung’s Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update party are the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip, and the Galaxy A72.

As of this writing, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is picking up Android 13 in Europe. The rollout has begun in the UK with firmware version F916BXXU2IVK3. Samsung should soon release the update in more European countries while simultaneously covering units in other parts of the world, including the US. The second-gen Galaxy foldable is also receiving the November security patch with the big Android update.

The Android 13 rollout for the Galaxy Z Flip has also begun in Europe. Samsung has already covered 5G models in most countries in the region, including France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and the Netherlands. The new firmware version for the 5G version of the original clamshell foldable is F707BXXU7IVK6. Over the next few days, this update should cover both 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy Z Flip globally. This device is also gaining the November SMR (Security Maintenance Release) along with Android 13.

The Galaxy A72 is another Samsung smartphone that started picking up the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in recent days. The premium mid-range smartphone from 2021 is currently getting the new Android version in Russia, with the November SMR in tow. The update bumps the phone’s firmware version to A725FXXU4CVJB. A wider rollout for this device should also be right around the corner.

Samsung updates more Galaxy devices to Android 13

It’s been just a few weeks since Samsung began a proper Android 13 rollout. But the company has already seeded the new Android version to most of its eligible flagships and a large number of mid-range models as well. It plans to update all eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets to Android 13 before the end of this year and is on track to achieving that target.
