The Huawei FreeBuds 5i have now arrived to Europe. To be more exact, these truly wireless earbuds have arrived to the UK first. We reviewed them recently, and they actually have a lot to offer.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5i have arrived to Europe
These earbuds are really well-priced considering what they offer. They’re technically a mid-range pair of earbuds, but they come with some flagship specs, and excellent sound output.
Those of you who live in the UK will be able to grab them starting from January 16, for £89.99. They are already available to pre-order, though. If you opt to pre-order them, you can also grab a £10 early-bird coupon for the Huawei Store.
They’ll be available from the Huawei Store. Starting in early February, they’ll also be available from Amazon, Argos, and Currys. You’ll be able to get them in Ceramic White, Isle Blue, and Nebula Black colors.
Other European markets will likely see these earbuds arrive soon as well. We’re expecting to see them throughout Europe, as was the case with the FreeBuds 4 and FreeBuds Pro 2.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5i are actually quite compact. They come in an egg-shaped case, which is actually very light. The earbuds themselves are also quite light, and the stems are not that long.
Multiple ANC levels are available, and the same goes for EQ modes
These earbuds do offer active noise cancellation, and multiple ANC and EQ modes. There is also a Dual Device Connection on offer, for seamless switching from one device to the other.
These earbuds provide excellent sound, and come with Hi-Res Audio Wireless (certification. The LDAC HD audio codec is included, and the Multi-EQ effects are also a part of the package.
On top of everything, these earbuds are also IP54 certified for water resistance. You can easily take these to the gym, or get caught in the rain, and not worry about them.
The battery life is also quite good, as we were able to find out during our testing. The Huawei FreeBuds 5i may not be Huawei’s most powerful truly wireless earbuds, but they’re an excellent offering in the mid-range sector.
