The tipster shared an image that you can see below this paragraph, in a tweet in which he reshared the images of the device. So, it seems like the launch event will be held on June 1 this year, presuming the info is accurate.
If this ends up being true, then the phone will launch sooner than we thought. The Motorola Razr 2022 arrived on August 11, 2022. Truth be said, it launched in China first, and we had to wait for it to arrive in other markets. Let’s hope that won’t be the case this time around (even though it probably will).
Based on the images Evan Blass shared, the Motorola Razr 2023 will have a gigantic cover display. Its cover display will cover almost the entire face of the phone, when folded. That display will even go around the phone’s cameras and LED flash.

The thing is, Samsung is expected to do something similar with the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Based on the image Ice Universe shared recently, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will also have such a cover display.
Motorola does offer the most functionality for the cover display, on the Razr 2022. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and OPPO Find N2 Flip are, at the moment, quite limited in that regard. Let’s hope that will change down the line, though.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip has the largest cover display at the moment, when it comes to clamshell foldables. If any of these rumors are true, both the Motorola Razr 2023 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will trump it later this year.
