In addition to announcing the Find X6 Pro, OPPO also announced the Find X6 today. The two phones do look basically the same, but there are some differences on the specs side of things. Also, the Find X6 is a bit smaller.
The phone is made out of metal and glass. It has a large camera island on the back, with three cameras on the inside. A curved display sits on the front, with thin bezels, and a centered display camera hole.
The OPPO Find X6 comes with a rather different spec sheet than its ‘Pro’ sibling
Unlike its sibling, this handset is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. OPPO announced 12GB and 16GB RAM variants of the phone, which come with 256GB and 512GB of storage, respectively. All models use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage.
A 6.74-inch 2772 x 1240 AMOLED display is included here, and it’s a bit smaller than the one on the Find X6 Pro. This panel offers an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It has a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and gets up to 1,450 nits of brightness at its peak. It’s protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus.
80W wired charging is supported, but the same cannot be said for wireless charging
Android 13 comes pre-installed on the phone, along with ColorOS 13.1. A 4,800mAh battery is included, and the phone supports 80W wired SuperVOOC charging. Wireless charging is not supported here.
There are two SIM card slots included here (2x nano SIM), while the device supports 5G connectivity. Bluetooth 5.3 is also supported here, and the phone has stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support.
An in-display fingerprint scanner is also included here, an optical one. The phone is IP64 certified, which means it is dust and splash resistant.
It has three cameras on the back, including a periscope telephoto unit
A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX890 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 6P lens, OIS) is backed by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (Samsung S5KJN1 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 3cm macro, 112-degree FoV). A 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (f/2.6 aperture, 5P mirror lens, Sony’s IMX890 sensor, OIS, 120x digital zoom) is also included on the back. Hasselblad is a part of the package, as is OPPO’s MariSilicon X NPU.
A 32-megapixel selfie camera (Sony’s IMX709 RGBW sensor, f/2.4 aperture) is also a part of the package.
The OPPO Find X6 measures 162.9 x 74.1 x 8.96mm, while it weighs 207 grams. The phone comes in Feiquan Green, Starry Black, and Snow Mountain Gold color options. The pricing in China starts at CNY4,499 ($654). There are no details about its global availability just yet.
