The Motorola Razr Pro & Razr Lite will launch on June 1 in Madrid

The Motorola Razr Lite actually surfaced in renders quite recently, while we were wondering what the name of the other model will be. Its sibling, the Motorola Razr Plus 2023, was mentioned in rumors, and that name did get certified. It seems like Motorola opted for a different naming, though. Or perhaps it plans to launch the Motorola Razr Plus later on, who knows.

The higher-end model will be called the Motorola Razr Pro. That device will have a much larger display than the Razr Lite, at least if rumors and leaks are to be believed. Its display will cover the vast majority of the upper portion of the phone’s back, when unfolded. When folded, almost the entire front side will be covered by that secondary display.

This will be a global launch event for the two phones, by the way. Also, we don’t have any spec info regarding the ‘Lite’ model, but the Motorola Razr Pro details did surface, well, some of them.

The Razr Pro will include a 120Hz main display, Android 13, and one of Qualcomm’s best SoCs

That phone is said to include a 2,850mAh battery, and support 30W wired charging. Its display will likely be between 6.7 and 6.8 inches, and it will be a fullHD+ AMOLED panel. We’re expecting a 120Hz or 144Hz panel here.

The Motorola Razr Pro will likely include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage on the inside. Android 13 will come pre-installed on the device, with Motorola’s additions to it.

When it comes to the phone’s SoC, it’ll be either the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, it remains to be seen. We’ll get a lot more information on June 1, it seems. Motorola is expected to confirm that launch date in the near future.
