Xbox Game Pass continues to reach more gamers, as this week the first batch of games from the service make their way to GeForce NOW. Two gaming services that each offer their own benefits to gamers, joining forces (GeForces) to deliver the best gaming experience possible.

What Xbox Game Pass lacks, NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW tends to offer. Notably the performance power of the Ultimate tier plan that GeForce NOW subscribers get. But although GeForce NOW has better looking visuals and is more performance-ready, it still misses some great titles. And that’s where Xbox Game Pass comes in. Starting this week, the first batch of games are landing GeForce NOW. With the promise of many more to come down the line.

This partnership between the two companies is part of Microsoft’s endeavor to make gaming more accessible to more gamers no matter the screen they play on. It’s also a partial answer to the pushback it has received for its proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard over cloud gaming concerns.

Xbox Game Pass games come to GeForce NOW August 24

NVIDIA doesn’t list all of the games yet, but it does confirm there will be more than 10 games coming to kick things off. This includes games from Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda. Two of those titles are Grounded and Deathloop. It’ll also include non-first party games. Such as No Man’s Sky and Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.

Worth noting is that this partnership is for games that are on PC Game Pass. So if there’s a title that’s on console Game Pass but not PC Game Pass, it likely won’t reach GeForce NOW. Still, kicking off this collaboration with more than 10 games is a big start. Especially when more games will be on the way. And NVIDIA confirms that with these coming releases, Ultimate tier GeForce NOW subscribers will be able to play the games in RTX 4080 quality.

It also confirms that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Alan Wake II, and PAYDAY 3 will all be available to stream when they launch. In short, GeForce NOW is about to get a whole lot better.
