There are quite a few standout features of this laptop but we’ll start with the most important ones. First and foremost this is a gaming laptop that’s powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. That’s right at the beginning of the mid-range in terms of performance and will be pretty good for games at medium to high settings. It also runs on an Intel Core i7-13650HX CPU and comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage on the SSD. Additionally, the 16-inch display is FHD and has a 165Hz refresh rate.
That’s a pretty good start for a gaming laptop that’s under $1,200. What’s really nice about the RTX 4060 GPU too is that it supports NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 technology. Since the RTX 4060 GPU isn’t the most powerful option NVIDIA offers, the DLSS 3 will help in games that support it so you can turn the graphics up a bit, then enable DLSS 3 to help boost frame rate. That way you’re not encountering as much of a loss of frames by increasing the graphics.
The laptop’s display also supports Dolby Vision. The laptop itself supports Wi-Fi 6E, and ASUS’s Aura Sync RGB customization. It’s a gaming laptop, so don’t expect exceptional battery life while playing games. It also weighs about 5.5 lbs. and comes with a 90-day Xbox Game Pass Ultimate trial.
