Samsung did manage to bring many improvements to the Galaxy S25 Ultra over its predecessor, including design changes, a new SoC, and more. However, the S Pen that comes alongside the beefier model lacks Bluetooth connectivity, limiting its use case. Not everyone is happy about this. Now, a fuming S Pen fan has launched a petition hoping Samsung reintroduces its Bluetooth feature next year.
By the way, if you’re not turned off by the lack of Bluetooth support for the S Pen, you can order the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Using the link below will give you $50 off of your order.

An S Pen fan has petitioned Samsung to bring back its Bluetooth feature next year
The company confirmed its decision before the Unpacked event. It stated that as little as 1% of S Pen users only rely on Bluetooth features. Not every day you come across news about users petitioning for some tech product. But the petitioner, Jeff Springer, seems to be among that 1% of users bothered by Samsung’s decision to downgrade the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen.
Now that the new S Pen is already here, one can’t expect the company to go back to its suppliers, telling them to get Bluetooth-enabled S Pen ready for the Ultra model yet again. Therefore, the petitioner hopes Samsung to reintroduce it with the Galaxy S26 Ultra next year. Notably, the petition has gathered over 900 signatures at the time of writing
A part of the petition reads, “We implore Samsung Mobile to listen to their user base and incorporate beneficial feedback into their product development process. As a show of commitment to edge-cutting innovation and customer satisfaction, we collectively ask Samsung to bring back the Bluetooth S Pen for the Galaxy S26 Ultra launch in 2026.”
Samsung recently removed some misleading details from its blog post
For the uninitiated, the Bluetooth-enabled S Pen allowed users to quickly do a few things using Air Actions. One example included taking pictures remotely using an S Pen. That’d be a thing of the past for those who switch to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, a Samsung Insights post from January 24 left a glimmer of hope for the Bluetooth S Pen fans.
The blog post mentioned that the company would sell a Bluetooth S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra separately. Sadly, after two days of publishing it, Samsung clarified that it was a mistake on its part. The confusing details from the blog post have since been removed.
