Amazon has the Echo Show 15 back down to a pretty good price. Not technically on sale, but Amazon is bundling the Alexa Voice Remote with it for just $224.98. That’s $25 off of the regular price of just the Echo Show 15, while this bundle is normally priced at $280. So it’s a pretty good deal.
The Echo Show 15 was released last year, and was quite an interesting device. It’s basically a 15-inch Echo Show that you can mount on the wall, or have standing on a desk or table in your home. The thought here is that it can act as a digital photo frame. Especially since Amazon Photos are included and compatible. Which makes it great to hang up in the hallway, or even in the kitchen, which you can then use to follow recipes, watch Amazon Prime Video and much more.
It sports a camera in the corner, which can be covered, if you wish. But that camera can be used as a home security camera, so you can keep an eye on your home when you’re not at home. It’s right in the white bezel, which makes it kind of obvious if the shutter is not over it.
On the Echo Show 15, you will be able to watch video from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and more. YouTube is not really supported, you’ll have to watch it in the browser. Which isn’t the best experience, and a bit surprising, since Google has brought YouTube to the Fire TV already. Both are great for using to make video calls with loved ones, and follow recipes for different dishes, among other things.
However, Amazon has recently brought Fire TV over to the Echo Show 15, so it can act as a mini TV in the kitchen. That means that all of your favorite apps like Netflix, YouTube, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video and more are available here.
