Alaska Retirement Commits $40M to Private Equity; Preparing Private Debt Search

The Alaska Retirement Management Board approved a commitment of $40 million to Insight Partners Fund XIII, according to materials from the June 12th Board meeting. 

Additionally, ARMB is preparing to conduct a search for a private debt manager. The board plans to commit to up to 3 managers with $100 million each. 

General consultant Callan is assisting with the search. Currently, 87% of their private debt portfolio is managed by Crestline. 

As of April 2024, ARMB was valued at  $41.5 million.
