Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 and its 4G variant, catering to users who need both entertainment and productivity on the go.
These tablets feature an 8.7-inch display with up to 600 nits of brightness and a 1500:1 contrast ratio, ensuring clear visibility even outdoors. The screens support 10-bit color depth, displaying 1 billion colors, and a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth viewing and gaming experience.
Optimized for comfortable reading, the tablets come with a 5:3 aspect ratio and offer two reading modes, Paper and Classic. They are TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certified, with DC dimming to reduce eye strain.
Both models are lightweight, with the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 measuring 8.8mm thick and weighing 373 grams, while the 4G variant weighs 375 grams.
Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor, they come equipped with a 6,650mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging for extended use and are available in three variants: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB.
The devices also feature an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio.
Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5 dual-band, Bluetooth v5.3, and FM connectivity, all running on Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G variant adds 4G support and dual SIM slots for reliable internet access and easy management of personal and work contacts. It also includes advanced navigation features for users who are frequently on the move.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 Cover is also available, offering a lightweight, slim design with a leather shell and a metal rivet wristband for easy carrying.
