Today I released my first game ever.
It took me 17 months of spare time work. It have been pretty much crunching for the past couple months as I presented myself a deadline that was insanely hard to reach. After all I'm proud of what I have done and I'm looking forward to start another project, but I need to rest a bit!

What's The Dragonhood about?

The Dragonhood is a clicker RPG with roguelite elements in which you become a dragon trainer who rules the continent. You hatch dragons, train dragons, command dragons, all that accompanied by an immersive soundtrack.

Do you remember old good WWW games with tons of P2W stuff and an unhealthy amount of time required to play the game? The Dragonhood is an attempt to adapt the best mechanics from these games to a modern single player experience. Gameplay is divided into days, and in each of them the player has a certain amount of action points to spend.

As a dragon master, the player sends dragons on 1v1 adventures or 3v3 dungeons in order to gather their opponents' flesh and precious loot. Battles are calculated right before the dragon enters one and the whole fight happens automatically! Player has options to upgrade each dragon's attributes, choose unique abilities from perk tree or even equip powerful amulets in order to create his own build for a dragon. Dragons level up by eating flesh from their foes and along with that they can encounter even bigger threats! Furthermore, some of the dragons can evolve into one of two possible forms!

In the game besides the main gameplay loop presented above, there are activities like quests, amulets reforging, collectables, vendor, special scriptorium upgrades or events. There is even a simple plot!
