One strategy that helped me maintaining the project's track is to effectively prioritizing between the bug fixes and features request by their urgency and impact to the stakeholders/users. 1- Think of critical bugs as a wilted flower in a beautiful bouquet, they diminish the overall beauty and impact of the arrangement. It is wise to replace the dead flower with the fresh one, thus, critical bugs should be prioritized. 2- While minor bugs are not that critical and can be improved side by side. 3- New Feature requests are like adding new variant of flowers to the bouquet, which we should do strategically but yet maintaining the Floral design of the arrangement. Lastly, communication with stakeholders is as effective as prioritizing.

Prioritization is indeed crucial. At TinyTap, we once faced a similar challenge while developing our interactive educational games platform. We used a modified MoSCoW method, adding an "E" for "Educational Impact". This helped us balance fixing critical bugs with implementing features that significantly enhanced learning outcomes. For instance, we prioritized fixing a bug in our content creation tool over adding a new animation feature, as it directly affected our educators' ability to produce quality content.

Within a constrained web project timetable, adopting Agile technique can assist strike a balance between new feature development and urgent bug fixes. With agile' s iterative methodology, you may progress new features in one iteration and fix bugs in the next. You can revaluate priorities and reallocate work as necessary with the support of regular stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions. You can handle urgent repairs without losing sight of your feature roadmap by being flexible and concentrating on incremental progress, which will help you keep your project on track.
