It’s vital to distinguish the difference between feedback from clients and feedback from peers. When a client gives you feedback that you disagree with, don’t be discouraged. It happens all the time. Give them what they want and move on. Ensure the client is happy and that they will want to return to you. And if they do, take note of every bit of feedback and apply it to future work. However when a peer/mentor gives you feedback, this is where you can truly learn. If you disagree with it, ask somebody else. Much of the feedback in this industry is subjective. However, if multiple peers are giving you the same advice, you should definitely consider applying it. Learn from others. Never be stuck in your ways. There is always room to grow.
