An example of creating customised, evidence-based solutions is my experience of working with a multinational banking client who wanted to recruit and retain GenZ staff. We created a 1-week challenge involving university undergraduates and interns in 3 countries. The participants had to work across time zones, language and cultural barriers and social media to research the topic, develop a solution, create a presentation and deliver their solutions to the Board in the boardroom. The participants raised the Client’s profile on multiple social media platforms, received fresh, targeted information and had an opportunity to recruit the best performers on the challenge. A learner who loves to play with toys like legos or play-doh is most likely a tactile learner. A student who enjoys watching videos or movies is probably a visual learner. Those who love listening to music likely have great auditory processing skills. Use different approaches to gather the information you need to tailor the instruction directly to the students' learning style.
