I prefer that when you are working on Web then you core technology should be same so you can maintain the ecosystem and train the resource in less time. I Prefer NEST.js with MongoDB mostly and for some specific use cases we move to relational DBs like MySQL

Ruby with its most popular framework Rails is mostly used in Web Apps but as the time is moving Ruby on Rails is loosing its popularity and is considered as platform for legacy systems. I am also not huge fan of this technology and i would not recommend to new developers to learn this technology.
