Collaboration is the key to succeed, and to achieve a bigger goal. For a researcher to be successful, the importance of collaboration plays a vital role. A big research project may compose of several sections and each section should be handled by a researcher who holds the best experience in that field. Regular meetings, discussions among all the researchers of the project may help for the successful completion of the work. Everyone may have their own perspectives. Respecting each others opinion and trying to incorporate the ideas may help to improve the quality of the work.

En mi experiencia he tenido la oportunidad de establecer un intercambio interdisciplinar permanente, el cual ha dado sus frutos en mis investigaciones. He recibido aportes y puntos de vista que han enriquecido mi trabajo y me ha permitido participar en el de otros. No se trata de un intercambio utilitario sino de un verdadero interés por realizar investigaciones de calidad. De allí han surgido nuevos proyectos de investigación, algunos de los cuales se han publicado o han recibido mención publicación. El intercambio y la acción colaborativa favorecen el crecimiento académico.

Sadly, without the wish to collaborate, any kind of collaboration is impossible. If there is the wish for collaboration, the main barrier teachers face is time. For true collaboration across subjects and even grade levels, time for planning and a flexible curriculum are essential. Also, the full support of the institution's leadership is vital. Without this, again, most new endeavours are impossible.

To bridge the gap and foster collaboration among faculty members in conflict over a research project, I start by facilitating an open and neutral discussion to understand each perspective and the root of the disagreement. I focus on identifying common goals and aligning them with the project’s objectives to create a shared vision. Encouraging compromise through smaller working groups or phased approaches allows for mutual contributions without diluting the project’s integrity.
