This helps keep track of decision making while pivoting. Always pivot and use data from a previous experiment to confirm the reason for pivoting. Team members should be allowed to run further experiments if there are any doubts. Change takes time. Also try to Pivot the how and what not the why!

When you recognise someone’s efforts, you subconsciously give them a message that their ideas, work and contributions are meaningful to the organisation. Incase you are struggling with miscommunications in the team, praising and giving positive feedback will be the one stop solution.

"We can't control outcomes, but we do have control over our inputs." I love the opportunity to recognize and reward the efforts that we believe will lead to the right outcomes. For instance: We have control over putting our best effort into a pitch. We can invest in learning about the audience, creating space to hear and listen to their needs. We can thoughtfully consider what we hear with our understanding of the situation, then use it to prepare an intentional response we're confident in. But we can't control their response to it. On my teams in these cases we work hard to reward the quality input, independent of the outcome, recognizing that repeating quality inputs does eventually lead to quality outcomes too.
