I don't have the actual experience on this kind of situation but all I can say is that I won't make any move if this happen for the first time. Being my boss I have to give him my best. But when this thing happen for second time, I will talk to my boss. Ask him clarifications and reasons why he did that. If my boss will accept his fault and ask for forgiveness then I will give it to him and continue to stay in the company. But if my boss will do and say other things then it's a clear signal for me to left the company for good.
