When time is tight, the key to making an impact is focusing on the essentials. I prioritize active listening, cutting to the heart of the challenge, and offering actionable insights. Instead of overwhelming with too much, I make sure the session leaves them with one powerful takeaway they can immediately apply. I also emphasize self-reflection, encouraging my clients to think critically and find their own solutions. This not only saves time but also builds their confidence and leadership capabilities. Short on time? It's all about creating a "wow" moment with just a few, targeted words. Because sometimes, less is more.

This is a common problem in hospitality industries when the unexpected rush comes to the front desk or into the restaurant. Wrap up each shortened session on one key development goal with clear actions. Tell the coachee that there will be follow up via email with resources and check-ins to maintain momentum.

Focus by asking 3 powerful, reflective questions that connect to purpose and action. 1st, start with "Who are you?" to help them reconnect with their core identity and strengths, reminding them of what makes them unique. Then, "Why are you here?" to encourage alignment with their purpose and the meaningful impact they aim to create. Finally, pose "What will you leave behind when your time here is done?" to inspire a focus on legacy and long-term goals. Keep the session actionable by linking these reflections to immediate priorities and practical steps. As Nick Vujicic shares in Life Without Limits, reflecting on your "why" and embracing challenges with clarity helps transform setbacks into opportunities for lasting growth and contribution.

Focus on delivering concise, high-impact insights that clients can immediately apply. Use powerful questions to guide reflection and clarity. Share tools or frameworks that encourage continued growth beyond the session. Prioritise active listening and empathy to address pressing concerns. Also, follow up with tailored resources or quick check-ins, ensuring your clients feel supported and empowered even with limited time.

I am very clear about one thing in my job. If the time is limited & there is an emergency, certainly i cannot focus (which is a very important trait in Coaching). I would try to have a logical end for that session & request them to schedule the rest for the next session. If i am going to continue, I may not be in a position to do justice in my coaching work.
