Our mission is to provoke public dialogue through contemporary art-making. 18th Street encourages contemporary artists from around the globe to create new work within a supportive environment. We provide artists with space and time to take risks in ways that further the development of their practices.   • 📣 Are you interested in art and nonprofit communication? 📣 18th Street Arts Center is seeking a creative, proactive, and motivated Communications Coordinator (¾ time, hybrid position) to join its team, under Advancement. Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Advancement, this person will plan and manage our social media communications, develop social media, email, and website content, and oversee online community management, and advancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, experience working in nonprofits or contemporary arts, a deep working knowledge of content creation and social media best practices, and a commitment to 18SAC’s mission of provoking public dialogue through contemporary art-making. Salary Range: $50,000 - $53,000 depending on experience, with fully paid health benefits and a matching retirement plan.
