From the state of fast food/fast casual and the raging value wars to school lunch and healthy labeling initiatives from the USDA and FDA respectively, the conference covered a buffet’s worth of important topics. #WSJFood
I look forward to this conference every year, #WSJFood. As someone who works with better food brands and believes we desperately need food equity and access, it's a reminder that various companies, brands, government agencies and investors all have different roles to play in that future. Kudos to the WSJ Journalists that led these panels. My top 3 moments: hearing that Perdue Farms will stick to its commitment of no antibiotics ever 👏; learning more about the FDA’s proposed “healthy” logo ("Eggs are Healthy" people!); and AG1 President Kat Cole's POV that "nutrition is power" and that as consumers, we “don't go backwards” once we learn that. How about that for the Future of Food!? 🥗
