3 days of intensive exchange among Investors, Founders, Executives, VPs and other leaders along the value chain of #AdditiveManufacturing just came to an end at the #AMS conference in #NewYorkCity. I enjoyed a lot to be on a panel around #Automation, presenting the latest advancements in ▶️ shaping an industry wide eco-system that fosters more collaboration, integration and interoperability with the #AM_I_Navigator to industrialize more focussed and tailored to specialized applications for profitable growth ▶️ the automation of the digital workflow with unbeatable features for value add in different industry digital threads, may it be more intelligent support structures with depowdering channel or intelligent nesting or automating the complete workflow with #NX_X to be managed in the off in minutes. We beauty of our portfolio is, that our customers can combine this with the physical workflow automation as e.g. more intelligent depowdering ▶️ industrial #AI, supporting the engineer with a Co-Pilot to help finding and leveraging all functions up to entering into immersive engineering by pulling Siemens‘ latest partnerships with Sony or Microsoft and making it available for Advanced Part Manufacturing. It was obvious that the companies learned the last years, that specific application and industry focussed companies are way more successful than the dream from some years ago of closed „one size fits all“ machines or production service suppliers. …and I was proud of how strong the european company leaders presented thought leading innovations in #Advancedmanufacuturing, may it be a 180 Million Euro worth spare part investory value of #DB by Stefanie Brickwede, the integration into the manufacturing landscape of an automative company like #BMW of Stefanus Bosch, leading the way of producing and using AM parts in the Railway industry with Christian Ochs or producing start-up companies as Arno Held presented in one of the most inspiring talks during the event. Luckily as a topping, I got a room on the 39th floor with a fantastic view over NYC. 3DPrint.com , Joris Peels and team. Thanks a lot for organizing this!

In my keynote address today at AMS 2025, I discussed a crucial shift for Additive Manufacturing: moving from bold aspirations to real-world impact. Automation and AI can accelerate this shift, but true success requires openness - collaborating, listening, and designing solutions that meet real needs. It’s not just about advancing AM; it’s about empowering those who use it. It’s time to turn dreams into deliverables! #AMS2025 #AdditiveManufacturing #InnovationMeetsReality
