A few words from our Director of Ops, Angotti, Dominic about our newly promoted AGM at the Perch, Sergio Reyna! "Please help me in congratulating Sergio Reyna for his well-deserved promotion to Assistant General Manager at The Perch Kitchen and Tap!   Sergio has been with 4 Star restaurant group since July 2018, starting at Tuco and Blondie working his way through all FOH positions including key holding. In the Fall of 2022, he was one of our first managers to go through 4 Star’s updated Manager in Training program and has since been a vital part of training many new 4Star managers and corporate staff at The Perch Kitchen and Tap. Sergio consistently leads by example and has grown as a professional by leaps and bounds over the past two years. As the opening GM of The Perch, I cannot think of a more deserving candidate to continue to lead that restaurant as one of our prototypes for future expansion, training and development, and the embodiment of our 4Star culture.    Sergio and his fiancée Angie love to travel and hang out with their dogs, Molly, Kylo, Benji, and Mimosa. You can find him enjoying a beer at a Bulls or White Sox game (the only reason to go see those teams recently) or devising his next costume for Halloween. Meet Allison! 🌟 Allison joined the 4 Star family in 2020 after graduating with a degree in Informatics and Security Cognate. After moving to Chicago, she started her journey with us at Crosby's Kitchen in Southport, where she quickly fell in love with the hospitality industry. In 2022, Allison made the move to Smoke Daddy Wrigleyville, where she continues to excel as a server and a supportive colleague. Her infectious positivity and dedication to providing top-notch service never fail to brighten our days and inspire those around her. Brian has been with 4 Star since 2007 - starting at Dunlay's on the Square and later helping open Smoke Daddy Wrigleyville. It's always fun to watch Brian's regulars come in to take a seat at his bar.  They know that with Brian, they're not just getting great service—they're part of a community. If you've visited Smoke Daddy in the last five years, you've likely met Maria. She joined the 4 Star family in 2017 at Dunlay's on Clark and soon moved to Smoke Daddy, now also part of the team at The Perch. Maria's positive disposition is infectious, and it's clear she loves what she does every day. We asked Maria about her favorite part of the job, and she shared, "I love being part of people's journey. There was a couple that used to come in all the time, and then they stopped coming. About five years later, they returned with a newborn baby. I love seeing people change and being a small part of their journey."
