51 Vets is proud to announce three new staff members to our team:
Tyler Williams will be the Chief of Finance for 51 Vets.
He is a Green Beret, currently transitioning out of the Army after 10 years of service. Throughout his military career, he’s deployed to Iraq twice and served across the spectrum – from an Infantry Platoon Leader, to a Special Forces Detachment Commander, and most recently a director of current operations at a Joint Special Operations Command task force. Tyler will purse a MBA at Wharton this Fall and is looking forward to serving as a resource for transition veterans and advocate for Special Operations members within the private sector. A native of Florida, Tyler currently resides in Pinehurst with his wife and two kids. In his free time, he loves to play golf and travel with his family.
Daniel Hellmann will be the 51 Vets Chief of Operations, internally focusing on our members to make sure they have they have the tools they need to succeed in their next endeavors.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio with nineteen years of service ranging from teaching, special operations and demonstration parachuting. Danny is a dynamic individual with a diverse range of skills and interests including functional wellness and Brazilian jiu jitsu. Finally, ensuring that transitioning service members have the answers for a successful post military career.
Cory Pederson is 51 Vets new Chief of Staff.
Cory has been married to his beautiful wife McKenzie for a year. He grew up in Minneapolis, received a Finance degree from Minnesota State, and has been in the Army for ten years (five years in the Infantry in Italy and three years Special Forces in Colorado). His wife and him will be moving to Charlotte, NC this summer as he starts his transition from active duty. He is looking forward to giving back to this community in the Chief of Staff role.
