Things rarely go exactly to plan, so agility and flexibility are an important part of the job. We’re so grateful for our incredible crew, who always rolls with the punches. Proud and grateful. Last night, the 515 team won a regional Emmy award for our collaboration with Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and Beehive Strategic Communication. The short film for the Water Over Nickel campaign aims to raise awareness about a proposed nickel mine in northern Minnesota and the threat it poses to sacred manoomin (wild rice) fields. It’s a privilege to help tell this story, and we were so grateful to celebrate together last night with our colleagues and friends. Excited to be returning to the Twin Cities Film Fest next month, along with our client Beehive Strategic Communication on behalf of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe's Water Over Nickel campaign. You can catch our short film about the threats posed by a proposed nickel mine in northern Minnesota on Sunday, October 20 at 4:30pm. You can also see it at the Duluth Superior Film Festival on Friday, October 4 at 6:30pm at the Zeitgeist in Duluth. It's been an honor to get to help tell this important story. And we're grateful that these film festivals are using their spaces and platforms to showcase films and stories about issues that matter. We are so grateful for continued opportunities to tell stories about protecting the planet.
