Voorhies PG, Senior Environmental Scientist with A&B Labs, has recently been certified by ASSE International (American Society of Sanitation Engineers) to the 12080 Standard, Professional Qualification to become a Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialist. This certification is primarily directed at Legionella bacteria, including sampling, prevention measures, and disinfection in public buildings and hospitals. The ASSE 12080 Standard is intended to guide water management and infection control risk assessment for building systems.
