Teachers, you are the architects of the future, shaping minds with patience, dedication, and an unwavering belief in every student's potential. This year, more than ever, I've witnessed remarkable resilience and innovation in how you've adapted to challenges, always putting the needs of our students at the forefront. Your commitment to creating engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environments is truly inspiring. You've not only taught academic subjects but essential life lessons of kindness, perseverance, and curiosity. To every teacher at A. Fantis, please know that your efforts do not go unnoticed. Last month we were honored to welcome Pavlos Geroulanos, a member of the Hellenic Parliament, and his visit still resonates. Student Council members led him on a tour of the school before sitting in on an informal Q&A with Upper School. Beloved History Teacher Mr. Mound had them prepared with some pretty tough questions, yet, Mr. Geroulanos handled the questions directly, thoughtfully, and with grace. Mr. Geroulanos moved on to a tour of the historic Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Brooklyn with Father Evagoras Constantinides and even helped with Tsiknopempti grilling. Exciting talks were underway to perhaps arrange another visit with Mr. Geroulanos in Athens for the annual Senior Trip to Greece!

Not sure what makes us prouder. Ranking as a top PreK-8 Private School in New York for another year, or the wonderful post shared by Korinna, Student Council Secretary and burgeoning author. The real story here is the impact of great teaching and how it shapes the lives of students.
