We recently celebrated our 150th anniversary in Stratford, Ontario -- where A. O. Smith has been a fixture for 40 years! More than 70 employees attended the celebration, including eight who were recognized for 30+ years of service. Stratford Mayor Martin Ritsma and Councillor Mark Hunter presented A. O. Smith with a certificate of recognition for the company's milestone. A. O. Smith also unveiled a park bench honoring plant manager Randy Fink who passed away in February. It will serve as a lasting tribute to his memory.

We continue to celebrate the winners from our 29th annual A. O. Smith Values Recognition Awards. Today we recognize our Community Involvement Award winner Robyn Myers. Robyn has gone above and beyond to demonstrate one of A. O. Smith's values — be a good citizen — by constantly helping those less fortunate and giving back to her community. Joining A. O. Smith in 1986, she has devoted her working life to the company and helping others. From the Angel Tree, a program dedicated to providing children with Christmas gifts, to working with the local school district, Robyn has done what she can to help children and their families. Congratulations, Robyn, and thank you for the work you continue to do in your community! On July 9, we kicked off our 150th anniversary location events in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - the home of our World Headquarters! An evening of camaraderie and celebration was shared with our employees, Smith family members and elected officials. Dinner featured the always entertaining John McGivern, words from Chairman and CEO Kevin Wheeler, and A. O. Smith Foundation Board of Directors President Bruce Smith. The night ended with a surprise visit from the University of Wisconsin-Madison marching band! Thank you to everyone who joined us, making it a truly special evening. We look forward to continuing our anniversary celebrations with location events across the world in the coming months!

We are honored to give back to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, an organization that has impacted so many lives in and around our world headquarters city!

Big news! As part of the 150th anniversary celebration of A. O. Smith Corporation, the A.O. Smith Foundation recently presented the Milwaukee Rescue Mission with an incredibly generous $150,000 grant — WOW! This gift will make an immense difference at our K4-12th grade school, Cross Trainers Academy (CTA), where the grant will fund technology needs — including Chromebooks and laptops — plus a commercial washer & dryer and water heater. All very important equipment to support our young scholars as they learn, play and grow! In fact, A.O. Smith is so dedicated to helping students in need that, on the day of the check presentation, a group of employees volunteered at CTA setting up classrooms and sorting clothes. A.O.
