Congratulations to long-time AAAS member Dr Stuart Barber, who received the Boehringer Ingelheim Industry Innovator Award at this year's Lambition Awards. Dr Barber's award recognised his work in creating and refining Dookie VR, a virtual reality farm or map of the University of Melbourne's teaching and research farm at Dookie. Dookie VR allows students to visit the farm virtually regularly throughout the year. It is designed to complement on-farm visits and enable students to experience the changes throughout the farming calendar and climatic events such as drought.
