About us
The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) is a national organization advocating for medically underserved Asian Americans (AAs), Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (NHPIs) and the community health providers that serve them. We work in conjunction with our members and partners to offer programs and services that promote advocacy, collaboration, and leadership to improve the health of AAs and NHPIs. AAPCHO advocates for the unique and diverse health needs of AA and NHPI communities through: • ADVOCACY: Serving as a unified voice of our membership, we share our collective knowledge and experience with policymakers to advocate for the continued support and growth of health centers that ensure AAs and NHPIs have better access to affordable, high quality, and culturally and linguistically appropriate health care. • RESEARCH AND DATA: We conduct research to advance the medical knowledge and increase the health care data on AA and NHPI communities. • CAPACITY BUILDING: We provide training and technical assistance to health centers and partners to support excellence in care delivery.

You can also choose to spread out your out-of-pocket prescription drug costs over the calendar year. Today is National Mammography Day. Did you know that breast cancer rates are on the rise, especially for Asian American (AA) and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (NH/PI) women? The rate of new breast cancer cases among AA and NH/PI women under 50 grew by about 50% from 2000 through 2021. Regular mammograms increase the chances of catching breast cancer in its early stages, when it's most treatable.
