I had an incredible experience presenting at the 2024 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) | @aapscomms PharmSci 360 in Salt Lake City! As I wrap up my final year as a graduate student, attending my sixth and final AAPS as a student, I’m deeply grateful to AAPS for providing a platform to share my research over the years. I’ve had the chance to present 7 posters and 2 rapid fire talks (including an invited talk), receive two Best Abstract awards, a travel award sponsored by Merck, and the American Association of Indian Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAiPS) Graduate Student Award. A heartfelt thank you to my advisor, Dr.Karunya Kandimalla, for his unwavering support and mentorship throughout this journey. And thank you to everyone who stopped by my poster on Regulation of VCAM-1 Expression by the Gut Microbial Metabolite Butyrate: Insights into Molecular Mechanisms and attended my rapid fire talk on Interplay Between Amyloid-Beta Pathology and Cerebrovascular Inflammation in Alzheimer's Disease at this year’s conference. Your feedback and support made this experience truly special. Looking back on these six years, it’s been a pleasure connecting with old friends and alumni, meeting new people, and growing as a researcher. Here’s a throwback to some favorite photos from past AAPS conferences and snapshots from this year’s 2024 meeting!

Reflecting on a whole week of conferences, last week was power-packed with AAPS PharmSci360 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) | @aapscomms followed by American Chemical Society (SERMACS) and Mercer University Joint Research Conference Mercer University - College of Pharmacy! I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to share the majority of my Ph.D. research work in the form of posters and oral presentations! I got to meet, talk, and share thoughts with amazing scientists who intricately and efficiently contribute to the field of pharmaceutical sciences with advanced strategies! Thank you, AAPS, ACS and Mercer, for creating these platforms for the scientific community! Kudos to my major advisor Dr. Martin D'Souza, for fostering a highly supportive and creative nanosphere technology lab at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Mercer University! Special thanks to my dearest mentor, Dr. Susu Zughaier, for her incredible mentorship and teachings! I am blessed with a great pack of researchers as my colleagues, whose support and motivation are invaluable! Emmanuel Adediran, Amarae Ferguson, Mahek Gulani Snehitha Akkineni Tanisha Manoj Arte. I also extend my heartful thanks to my seniors Sharon Vijayanand, Ph.D. and Priyal Bagwe for their support during the early stages of my work. The experience was more delightful with the re-union of Mercer Alumni Group supported by our beloved Dean Pamela Moye! It was great to have several alumni reconnect with the current graduate students Akanksha Kale and share their experiences. More Science, more advancements, more achievements!
